Ian C. Deady
Trial Attorney
Ian is committed to using his skills as an advocate to protect consumers and workers and to help them obtain the compensation they deserve. He joined Krissman & Silver after completing a two-year fellowship at Veterans Legal Institute funded by UC Irvine and The Nicholas Endowment. While at VLI, Ian represented veterans of the U.S. armed forces across a variety of practice areas, including unlawful detainer and creditor litigation, and administrative appeals before the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Social Security Administration, the California Labor Commissioner, and several local housing authorities. He also founded VLI’s Bankruptcy & Consumer Rights Clinic, and helped working families fight evictions.
While at UC Irvine School of Law, Ian received recognition for his pro bono service with Public Counsel, earned recognition for his studies in regulatory law, and assisted with scholarly research in land use law and civil rights law. Prior to attending law school, Ian earned his undergraduate degree in Social Ecology from UC Irvine where he focused on law and public policy. He also completed an internship with the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C..
